Each graduate certificate requires the successful completion of 3-4 graduate courses.

  • $1,320/unit; ($1,120/unit for employees of a member company).
  • Each graduate course is typically 3-5 quarter units; you must enroll for a minimum of three units per quarter.


Complete the online Non Degree Option application and indicate which certificate you would like to pursue. Application includes a statement of purpose, transcripts from all previous higher education institutions, and Visa documentation if applicable.

Graduate Courses for Academic Credit

  • Every unit of credit represents one hour of class time plus approximately two additional hours of work per week for the average student. A three-unit course, for example, requires a minimum time commitment of nine hours per week.

Graduate Certificates

  • Complete the 3-5 courses required for your certificate in three years or less.
  • Most certificates can be earned within 1-2 years.
